How to keep your loan list

  1. Record it when you lend

    You type in the item and the person yourself, no access to your contacts is needed. Take a photo so it is clear later exactly what went out and in what condition.

  2. Set a return date

    Set a date for each entry and switch on the reminder. The app notifies you on the due date, and overdue loans are marked in the overview.

  3. Back is back

    The overview shows what is still out and what has already come back. That keeps the list up to date.

A loan list answers the question of who you lent your cordless screwdriver to in seconds. But only if the essentials are noted for each item:

Record the item while you hand it over, not later from memory. A specific return date makes remembering easier for both sides.

Lent and borrowed in one list

Things you lend rarely disappear on purpose. They get forgotten: the book that has been at an acquaintance's place for two years, the tent from the last festival.

With the list, you ask in a friendly and specific way instead of guessing. "You have had my cordless screwdriver since September 2" is easier to say than "Do you maybe still have something of mine?"

The app covers both directions. You also record what you borrowed yourself. The reminder appears before it gets embarrassing, and you return the book in time.

Note or app?

A note on the fridge costs nothing. But it only helps if you have it handy when you lend something, and it does not remind you of the return date.

You have the app with you when the neighbor is at the door. It reminds you on the due date and marks what is overdue.

What is the app for?

For private lending among friends, in the family, in the neighborhood or in a club. Tools, books, games, dishes: you note who you lent what to and what you borrowed yourself.

Can I record lent and borrowed items separately?

Yes. In the same app you record what you lent to others and what you borrowed yourself.

Will I be reminded about the return?

Yes. You set a return date for each entry and switch on the reminder. Overdue loans are also marked in the overview.

Does the app need access to my contacts?

No. You type in the person's name yourself.

Does the app work without internet?

Yes, recording works offline. Your entries stay on your device, and you do not need an account.

Which languages is the app available in?

In 24 languages. It switches automatically to the language of your device.
